Why is it when people find out their soap & shampoo etc.. have toxic chemicals in them they don't care?

Because the world is full of toxic things, and it's easier to tell yourself it isn't real than to admit our body is full of toxic elsements.Why is it when people find out their soap %26amp; shampoo etc.. have toxic chemicals in them they don't care?
The important thing to remember here is that you can only give people information. What they do with it is up to them! Are you looking for products that dont contain harmful chemicals? Toxic soap and shampoo ? People don't seem to care about other toxic issue like their food and the air the breathe . I think all you could do is avoid the things that you are concerned with ,and let the rest by in to the corporate advertising machine .
Because they're generally cheaper to produce and people buy what they can afford.
You can't see the effects of toxic substances on the exterior so that makes it easier to be nonchalant.


Also if these substances were so very toxic why are people living into their 80s when they are using them?


If something was really really bad for you I would expect to see a report on the news about it.


Mostly when people have told me something has toxic chemicals it's when they want me to buy something from them which is like 4 times the price of what I would normally pay.
Possibly because the substance never gets inside your body, and you wash it off within minutes.
