Long hair care for a male.. how often to shampoo?

I am a 20 year old male with long naturally straight hair. If you need pictures please say and i'll post them and add to this. But my question is this, what is the best treatment for my hair, is there any particular shampoo/conditioners? And how often, every day, every other day? I hear all sorts of solutions but never know which ones are right to keep my hair on my head and healthy!





I like TRESemme silky and smooth for normal hair, both their shampoo and conditioner lines,are these good? And is there a problem with mixing and matching. E.G -- Fructis for shampoo, TRESemme for conditioner?Long hair care for a male.. how often to shampoo?
every other day is fine other wise it will get dry and mixing two different brands is fine , I would stay with what you like ... My b.f uses American Crew Citrus Mint it smells soooo good you buy you can buy it at a Salon Long hair care for a male.. how often to shampoo?
You should wash your hair daily, or every other day, no more or you will wash out natural oils. And there's no problem with mix and matching, I always do it with leftover shampoo/conditioner. However never put shampoo and conditioner that are designed to be put on separately, together.


EDIT: I use tresemme too, and I have for quite a while, yes it's good!

you should put up a picture, because i can see your hair type better that way.. my favorite thing to use for dry hair: use hello hydration. but then again, i don't know your hair type.
