hi, i have been putting blond highlights in my naturally light brown hair for years but recently i got really sick of it and went to the salon and got a darker reddish brownish color. i love it. its been only 3 days, and i think its already fading! i cant afford the color care shampoo at the salon. any good affordable products out there? also i have to wash my hair every day bc it gets super oily if i dont, but i know that will make it fade faster too. any advice?Need a good, affordable, color care shampoo %26amp; conditioner!!!?
Pantene Pro V Color Revival. I have color treated hair and this is what I use.
It's not too expensive (you can buy it at WalMart, Target, or even a grocery store.)
Hope this helps!
*My cousin is a hairdresser and she told me that ';Redkin'; is the best for color treated hair, though I can't afford it.Need a good, affordable, color care shampoo %26amp; conditioner!!!?
use loreal paris n=vive or dove
well Garnier Fructis is not good it like ruins my hair it make it all greasey so i dont suggest you use that! idk wat to sey it depends wat ur hair agrees with a disagrees with
Dove Color Care Shampoos are the best!
Use the dove line. They keep your hair so soft and moisturized and it keeps your color from fading.
I've been dying (see: abusing) my hair for many many years. :-) Currently, it's black in back and bright, rainbow blue in front!
I use a typical shampoo to wash (such as Suave, because it's cheap), and I spoil myself with Pantene Pro-V's Color Revival conditioner.
A little bit tends to go a long way, and it works wonders!
Also, lately, there have been many different shampoos coming out specifically for different hair colors (mostly browns, blondes, and yes, reds); such as John Frieda's ';Radiant Red'; hair care line. You may want to look into one of those, even WalMart carries a few of them; red is a great hair color, but prone to fade quickly. I was redying my hair every 3 days when it was red.
Good luck!
Try Garnier Fructis. I looooove it, and it's actually much nicer to my hair than many higher-end products.
omg omg, I have the perfect answer to this.
I just went to the store today and they were selling this ';sunsilk'; brand of shampoo + conditioners in a special display. is one of those products that is for ';blondes'; or ';brunettes';, and it just came out.
Annnnyways, look for the fancy-schmancy display, and THEN, use the $3 off coupons they stick in the little info packets on the display.
The product was $3.99 here in PA, so I bought 2 of them for $2, essentially.
The coupons are supposed to be one to a purchase, but they keep ringing up, even if you have multiple ones, so exploit the system and get as many as you want [you need a coupon for each one, tho coupons are in the display].
Happy scamming!
Update:
it's called ';Sunsilk: Beyond Brunette'; [also comes in blonde].
I got mine at an Eckerd's, so I'm not sure if they'll have these displays at all drugstores, but they might, so def exploit it if you can find it.
Further Update:
Walmart has free samples of dove colored hair products online right now [see link]
Darnit, you'd better give me 'best answer' for this question, woman!
why dont u try pantene pro-v stuff. they have a few lines made espescially for blonde hair, brown hair and red hair. they brighten up u rcolour (i use it on my natuarally blonde hair and it makes the colour stand out). they're about 7 to 10 bux.
also try samething for john frieda. these 1s are a little more expencive, last time i saw it was like 16$
:)
yes go to walmart and get something there theres alot of good stuff
try pantene pro-v shampoo and conditioner
vive, i believe is real good(i think its color-vive that you want) i think loreal makes it, and you can find it in the grocery store. make sure its for colored/permed hair and dont get the moisturizing kind if your hair is oily.use the conditioner only on the ends, so it will keep your hair in shape, but not greasy. pantene is good, but if your hair is oily, maybe not for you, because its a bit heavy. i use suave ... great price, also garnier fructis is great.
OMG!! I DO THAT EXACT SAME THING!! I'm a brunette %26amp;%26amp; i highlight my hair blonde. I didn't switch to red, but my shampoo kept fading when I washed %26amp;%26amp; i had the same problems you did. I got that Aussie shampoo. MY hair ALWAYS looks straight now %26amp;%26amp; the color doesnt fade. You should try it.
