Even after bathing our dog stinks. Is there a shampoo or something to take care of the ';dog smell';?

Go to Wal-Mart and get some odor-ban this stuff will not harm your dog, and has a great smell. I raise pits and rottweilers and they love to catch skunks. This odor-ban will even remove the smell of a skunk. Surely your dog doesn't smell as bad as a skunk.lol.Even after bathing our dog stinks. A dog should not stink, unless it rolls around in something that makes it stink.A constant bad smell from your dog means you need to see a vet. Some of the possible causes. If it's coming from the ears,it could mean an ear infection. From it's rear end, could mean it's a n a l glands need to be expressed.Poor quality foods can also cause a dog to stink.Even after bathing our dog stinks. you can use a baking soda brand of shampoo for dogs plus buy a conditioner. In between baths get a pet cologne to put on it. If it smells like skunk use baking soda, peroxcide and dish soap that should take the smell out
Human shampoo is not PH balanced for your dog's skin care needs. What kind of shampoo are you using? How often do you bathe your dog? I use a brand of dog shampoo called ';Near and Dear'; that smells awesome. I find it at any K-9 supply store, PetsMart, and Pet Supplies Plus. HOWEVER, the smell could be something like an infection (parvo makes dogs smell bad, or a skin infection may be to blame). If it's nothing medical, use Near and Dear.
brush your dog regularly to minimize the smell in between baths.
use your normal stuff then you use a small ammount of your own conditioner
